Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an organized and personable Front Desk/Admin professional to join their client's team in Durham, North Carolina. This role involves being the first point of contact for clients and supporting the administrative functions of the office. The ideal candidate will be a friendly and efficient multitasker, ensuring that all operations at the front desk run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients professionally and provide a welcoming first point of contact.
  • Answer incoming calls, take messages, and route inquiries to the appropriate staff.
  • Manage client check-ins, document drop-offs, and pick-ups.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Copy, scan, and organize tax returns in preparation for e-filing.
  • Assemble client tax return packages (paper and electronic).
  • Track the status of tax returns and ensure all required signatures/forms are completed.
  • Assist in preparing documents for secure electronic delivery.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive client information at all times.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to move around in the office; this is not a desk-only job.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and staff.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.

Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, fully onsite in Durham, NC.

Additional Details

The pay range for this position is $20 - $24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
